Bio-based Backsheet for Solar Modules

Provisional Data Sheet:  BioBacksheetTM-C

(March 31, 2009)

BioBacksheetTM-C is essentially a green material designed for use as a photovoltaic backsheet.  It is a two component system comprising of a substrate and a top layer.  The substrate is a cellulosic film produced from cotton, and the coating is a proprietary material intended to lower the water vapor transmission rate and to make the outer surface of the product more abrasion resistant.
